JAMMU, Apr 7: Gharota police today booked a couple for assaulting and injuring a person in village Mathwar.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Behari Lal and his wife Seema Devi of village Mathwar today attacked a 61-year-old man namely Bodh Raj son of Gian Chand of same village with stones when a scuffle broke out between them over cutting of branches of a tree.
“Bodh Raj got injured in the assault and was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment”, the spokesman said, adding, on the complaint of the victim a case under relevant sections has been registered against the couple at police station Gharota.
