JAMMU, Apr 9: Minister for Health & Medical Education, Bali Bhagat today said that the present BJP-PDP Government has a clear agenda for ensuring all round development in all pockets across the State with special focus on revamping the essential sectors.
Addressing a public meeting at village Khanpur-Pouni Chak in Raipur-Domana constituency, the Minister said the State has fullest support of the Central Government for undertaking massive developmental activities for the welfare of the people, for which the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has already sanctioned a whooping financial package of Rs 80,000 crore. The State Government will make optimum use of the financial package to ensure accelerated and sustained development of all areas. He said the development is the need of every section of the society which can transform the life profile of the citizens and present Government is laying entire focus on it.
The Minister sought people’s cooperation in ensuring need and area specific based development so that the benefits of the Government assets reach out to every individual. He urged the people to maintain close coordination with the administration and make projection of the futuristic plans which will be given practical shape by the officers. He said the Government is aware about the problems being faced by the rural people and every effort will be made to mitigate them in a phased manner.
On the occasion, the Minister dedicated an upgraded electric transformer costing Rs 3.12 lakh to the people. With the installation of upgraded gadget, the low voltage problem of the area has been addressed substantially. The funds have been provided by the Minister from his CDF. He also assured to address other problems like up-gradation of link roads, lanes and drains which were projected by the locals before him.
