Maha Ganesh Charitable Foundation holds meet

JAMMU, Apr 9: Shri Maha Ganesh Charitable Foundation Lower Muthi Jammu today said that work on Rs one crore complex is going on with full speed at Lower Muthi and within two months the two community halls constructed in the complex will be inaugurated and opened for public utilization.
This was stated by the chairman of the Foundation Jagar Nath and its president Prof Omkar Nath Koul while addressing the annual meeting of the Foundation today.
They said that the Foundation has constructed a grand temple at Lower Muthi which is the replica of the original shrine of Maha Ganesh at Hawand Chawalgam, district Kulgam in South Kashmir and the temple which is constructed on the pattern of South Indian architecture has been an attraction for a large number of devotees.
They said the Foundation is intending to establish welfare schemes for the community which include helping the needy families and sponsoring the brilliant children for further studies coming from low income group families of the community etc.
Prof Koul said as the term of old body is over the elections for the new body will be held on April 23 and last date for nomination papers is April 12.
He said the Foundation has nominated Ravinder Pandita as Chief Election Commissioner for the smooth conduct of the elections to the Foundation.
