JAIPUR: The BSF today held a suspected Pakistani national along the international border in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar district, as Pakistan Rangers denied taking him back saying he was not a citizen of that country.
The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel arrested the 55-year-old man when he reached the IB fencing, officials said.
Rs 883 in Pakistani currency, a visiting card and a match box were recovered from the suspect, Station House Officer, Anupgarh, Bhawani Singh told reporters.
When informed about the arrest, the Pakistani Rangers, denied accepting the man as their citizen during a flag meeting, said BSF sources. (AGENCIES)
