Railway gang men protest at Budhi Station

KATHUA, Apr 11: Train traffic was disrupted at Budhi Railway Station near here after the gang men resorted to protest against the local supervisor of Railways this morning.
The trouble started at Railway Station Budhi when the Railway supervisor at 8-15 am allotted the duty to gang men but they protested and alleged that he was violating the procedure.
Some gang men also thrashed the supervisor as per reports and hampered the movement of train traffic. The Ahmedabad Express which was on its way to Jammu was detained for half an hour on the Railway Station due to protest of gang men. The passengers traveling in the train were put to grave problem.
The Railway Police Station Govindsar has registered a case in this regard and SHO of the Police Station, Vijay Kumar also visited the Budhi Railway Station to defuse the situation.
However enraged by registration of the case the gang men again assembled and staged the demonstration at the Railway track. Later the passengers of train pacified them and the protesting gang men dispersed.
The SHO said that train service was hampered at Railway Station for half an hour.
