School Principals apprise Education Minister of their demands, grievances

JAMMU, Apr 17: A delegation of School Principals Forum, headed by Ram Parkash, called on Minister of Education and discussed with him the issues of the cadre.
The delegation demanded regularization of incharge Principal, Non vaccational status of school Principal and removal of pay grade anomaly.
The deputation pleaded that the Principals were highly qualified section of  Society but promoted from Lecturer to Principal for a meager Charge  Allowance, which is not justified and violation of human rights. They have been  given main responsibility of running schools, cluster and implement all policy  and flagship programme of the Government but they not entitled foe earned leaves.
The minister gave a patient hearing and assured that issue of regularization of incharge Principals and non vaccational status will be resolved at the earliest.
Later, the deputation also called on Minister of State for  School Education, Priya Sethi, who also assured that their issues were genuine and would be sorted out at the earliest.
Those who participated in discussion of charter of demands included Dr Subash Sharma, Swarn Singh, Ch Harbans Lal, Nandkishor and Sadeeq Ganai.
