JAMMU, Apr 19: Pounichack police under Operation Sanjeevani arrested four drug peddlers along with heroin and ganja.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Pounichak police post laid a naka and intercepted four persons, who were trying to hide themselves after seeing police cops.
During checking, police recovered 5 grams heroin and 6 grams ganja from their possession and arrested them.
The drug peddlers have been identified as Amit Baloria, son of Parladh Singh of Talab Tillo, Ajay Kumar, son of Hans Raj, Rohit Kumar, son of Madan Lal and Arjun Dagotra, son of Vikram Dagotra, trio residents of Gole Panj Peer.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered against them at Domana police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pounichak police post SI Sumit Magotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector RS Rana, SDPO Domana Verinder Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
