JAMMU, Apr 20: A deputation of All J&K Agriculture Employees Association today called on Director Agriculture Jammu, A K Malhotra and handed over a memorandum to him.
The DPC of non gazetted cadre has not been conducted till date which should be conducted twice in a year as per General Administration Department (GAD) order due to which there is a great resentment in the non gazetted employees cadre. It demanded immediate holding of DPC.
The memorandum demanded issuance of the orders of all the pending cases cleared by Screening Committee at an earliest, deliberately delaying the orders is a harassment for the employees those who are already suffering.
It stressed on regularization of 65 daily rated workers (DRW’s) who were engaged in the Department before 31-1-1994, and clearance of files of 18 drop outs which were lying in Administrative .Department for regularization but no action has been taken so for.
The memorandum demanded advertisement of Class IV th posts for fresh recruitment like Peons and Malies to for the smooth work of the Agriculture Farms and Offices which are lying vacant since long.
It also conducting of type test for the post of Junior Assistants among the Departmental candidates from class IVth employees as per 25% quota.
The Director Agriculture Jammu assured the Association leaders that their genuine demands will be redressed earlier.
The delegation was led by Uttam Chand Sharma, president of the Association and Amrik Singh its chief spokesperson. They were accompanied by Naresh Kumar Sharma , Narender Singh, Pawan Singh, Tarlok Singh and others.
