POONCH, Apr 21: The police today arrested two drug peddlers in Surankote area and recovered 594 gms charas from their possession.
Police sources said that a police party led by SHO Surankote, Ajay Jamwal, under the supervision of DySP Asgar Malik and assisted by SOG laid naka near Dak Bungalow Surankote today and intercepted two youth. During their checking, about 594 gms of high quality Charas was recovered from their possession. Both were arrested immediately.
Those arrested were identified as Sharukh Khan, son of Akbar Khan, resident of Bufliaz and Sajjad Hussain, son of Ashiq Hussain, resident of Mendhar. A case FIR No. 50/ 2017 was registered against them at Police Station Surankote.
