DODA, Apr 21: Police arrested three persons along with 10 sleepers of deodar.
As per police sources, on specific information, teams from Thathri police station and Karara police post laid a naka at Boliyan, Tehsil Chiralla and intercepted a without registration number tractor-trolley.
During checking, police seized 10 sleepers of fresh deodar from the vehicle and arrested three persons including the driver.
The accused has been identified as Neelam Singh (driver), son of Kalyan Singh of Pamassa, Mohammad Anis, son of Mohammad Ramzan and Riaz Ahmed, son of Gul Mohammad, both residents of Gosti, Tehsil Chiralla.
A case under FIR Number 27/17 under Section 379 RPC and 6 Forest Act has been registered against the accused at Thathri police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Thathri Inspector Viney Parihar and accompanied by Incharge Karara police post ASI Mohammad Sharif made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
