ATM with over Rs 12 lakh stolen

Srinagar, Apr 21: Unidentified robbers today stole an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of State Bank of India (SBI) along with over Rs 12 lakh cash in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official said the robbers stole the ATM from General Bus Stand Anantnag which was containing Rs. 12.18 lakh cash during night hours. He said the ATM was found at Qazigund but without cash.
Police, meanwhile, rushed to the spot after learning about the robbery and started its investigation. A case has been registered already. Two days back, gunmen, believed to be militants, looted a bank in Harmain village of Shopian district.
