JAMMU, Apr 22: In order to enhance the police public relations at all fronts a civic action programme was organised at Government Higher Secondary School Bagh-e-Bahu, here.
In this programme officials of IRP 10th Bn distributed Cricket kits, Volleyball kits, Badminton kits and other sports accessories to the students of the School.
Sandeep Mehta, DyCommandant of IR 10th Bn was the chief guest on the occasion where as a large number of respectable persons of the area, members from teaching fraternity and parents of the students were present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion Sandeep Mehta laid stress on the students to inculcate sportsman spirit and think positive. He said such kind of programmes bring general public close to police and its policies and emphasised on the audience to be ears and eyes and report any wrong happening to police for its immediate redressal.
Other speakers Rajeev Charak and Anita Gupta Principal of the school appreciated the effort of the police. Mazhar Shah SP, Dev Raj DySP, Rafiq Choudhary DySP and other prominent citizens were also present in the function.
