JAMMU, Apr 22: Akhnoor police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, a team from Akhnoor police station apprehended a man along with 30 pouches of illicit liquor during checking at Fowara Chowk.
The accused has been identified as Ajay Kumar, son of Madan Lal, a resident of Kot Garhi, Tehsil Akhnoor.
A case under FIR Number 71/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Akhnoor police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Akhnoor Inspector Pushpinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Gurvinder Pal Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
