UDHAMPUR, Apr 22: Udhampur Police today arrested two bootleggers and seized 76 pouches of illicit liquor from their possession.
Reports said that a police party from f Police Station Udhampur intercepted two suspicious persons, who were travelling on foot near mini bus stand, Udhampur. During thorough search of the duo, 38 pouches of 250 ML J&K Excise Liquor were recovered from each one of them.
Police seized all the 76 pouches of liquor and arrested the accused person, who were identified as Kuldeep Kumar of Samroli and Fajal Husan of Chamba, near Katra.
In this connection, a case under section 48A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
