UDHAMPUR, April 24: Yet another shocking incident of rape with a nine-year old girl has been reported from Rehambal thus sending a shock wave in the area even as Police has arrested the accused.
The arrested accused has been identified as Sanjay Kumar alias Sanju (26), son of Amar Nath of Jib, a neighbour of the victim. A case FIR number 50/17, under section 342/376 RPC has been registered against him.
Complaint in this regard was registered by father of the victim, who alleged that his daughter had gone to the house of his neighbour Amar Nath alias Ambu to play with other children when accused Sanjay Kumar forcefully took the minor girl to a room and raped her.
The victim has been sent to District Hospital Udhampur for medical examination and further investigation in the case was going on.
On April 19, two minor sisters were raped by a shopkeeper in a Panchari village.
