VHP expresses concern over increasing stone pelting incidents in Valley

JAMMU, Apr 25: VHP State president Leela Karan Sharma while taking serious exception to the increasing stone pelting and other violent incidents in Kashmir valley demanded that Government should handle the situation with full might.
Talking to reporters here, today, he said that no leniency should be shown to separatist forces and anti-India elements in Kashmir but they should be curbed with iron hands so that they can’t raise their ugly heads again.
Leela Karan while criticizing the Government said that providing incentives to separatists and the anti-national elements by previous NC-Congress Government led by Omar Abdullah has emboldened them and this has been main cause of increasing incidents of stone pelting and mob violence in Valley. He alleged that same blunder is being repeated by the PDP-BJP Government led by Mehbooba Mufti.
The VHP State chief who expressed his serious concern over the filing of FIRs against the security forces personnel strongly criticised the Government for it. He said such acts are demoralising the security forces and encouraging the separatists and anti-national elements.
Suresh Chander State working president, Rajesh Gupta, Shakti Dutt Sharma State vice president, Ajay Manhas joint secretary, Ashok Gupta, etc. were also present in the press conference.
