BILLAWAR (KATHUA), Apr 26: Stating that PDP-BJP unholy alliance has proved ominous for the State, Member Legisative Council (MLC) and senior Congress leader Th Balbir Singh today said that State is passing through a very crucial period due to failure of the present dispensation.
Addressing public meeting at Ramkot and  Kilther in Billawar constituency today, Balbir Singh said that  prevailing anarchy, chaos and sense of uncertainty in State is the  result of unholy alliance between two parties, with diametrically opposite ideologies, just to enjoy power by bartering wishes and aspirations of the people of J&K.
“PDP-BJP Government is going to be proved disastrous for the people of J&K as during the last two years alienation of people has been increasing with every passing day and credibility of the Government has reached to its lowest ebb”, he said and pointed out that every region and sub-region of the State is bearing brunt of the wrong policies of this coalition regime.
“Coalition has been exposed due to its misdeeds, mis-governance and mal-administration so people are looking towards opposition to get them rid of the present anarchist dispensation”, Singh said.
The Congress legislator while winding up his three days tour of this constituency first time after becoming MLC, pointed out that prevailing situation in the Billawar Assembly constituency is a reflection of total failure of the Coalition Government. He said that common people are struggling to get ration as authorities have failed to ensure supply of ration in the Government depots.
Singh said that during the last three days, he has toured different areas of Billawar Assembly constituency and people informed that power and water supply situation is worst in many areas of  this belt.  He regretted that except promises, this regime has failed to do any thing constructive for the people.
Responding to the demands raised by the locals, Balbir Singh said that he would work hard to solve their problems on priority. He further assured that being Member of the Legislative Council, he would take up peoples’ issues before the authorities concerned for earlier redressal.
