Moth slides on muted demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 29:  Barring a fall in moth prices on easing demand from retailers, other pulses held steady at wholesale pulses market today.
Traders said subdued demand from retailers against ample stocks position, mainly weighed on moth prices.
In the national capital, moth traded lower by Rs 50 to Rs 3,400-3,800 per quintal.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 5,500-7,000, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 6,000-6,100, Urad best Rs 6,100-6,600, Dhoya Rs 6,500-6,700, Moong Rs 5,200-5,400, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,700-5,900, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,300-6,800 and best quality Rs 6,800-7,000.
Masoor small Rs 4,200-4,500, bold Rs 4,250-4,600, Dal Masoor local Rs 4,700-5,200, best quality Rs 4,800-5,300, Malka local Rs 5,000-5,200, best Rs 5,100-5,300, Moth Rs 3,400-3,800, Arhar Rs 4,200, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 6,100-7,900.
