DODA, Apr 29: Police distributed 50 crash helmets to bikers old bus stand here under civic action programme.
On the occasion, SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir, DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed, DySP DAR Doda Nazir Ahmed Ganai, ARTO Doda Zubair Ahmed and large number of general public were present.
SSP Mohammad Shabir stressed upon beneficiaries to work as ambassador on behalf of police department and spread the message of safe driving by way of wearing quality crash helmets.
He emphasized on the importance of crash helmets, having driving license, insurance papers and also warned against triple riding.
SSP appealed to the general public to avoid traffic violations.
Later, the commuters after wearing the helmets took out a rally for awareness among general public.
