JAMMU, Apr 29: Police foiled murder plot and arrested a person.
As per police sources, five unknown persons traveling in a Maruti Van attempted to kill a person identified as Pardeep Sharma in Main Chowk Vijaypur.
Acting swiftly, police team arrested a Punjab based criminal namely Gurdeep Singh, son of Surjeet Singh of Patiala, Punjab and hunt has been launched to nab his associates, who fled away from the spot.
A case in this regard has been registered at Vijaypur police station and investigation started.
