JAMMU, Apr 30: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Amit Shah said that library and its books serve an avenue where one achieves perfection of mind and thoughts on single table.
He said this while inaugurating newly established library and e-library in the premises of BJP Headquarters at Trikuta Nagar, here.
Shah was accompanied by State President and MLA Sat Sharma, National Vice President Avinash Rai Khanna, National General Secretary (Organis-ation) Ram Lal, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, MoS in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, National General Secretary Dr Anil Jain, Arvind Menon and State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul.
Shah dedicated it to great ideologue and thinker and named it as Nanaji Deshmukh Library and e-library. He also penned down his remarks on the visitor’s register.
After the inauguration of the library, Amit Shah also released a book titled “Historical Moments-At A Glance”, compiled by BJP Department of Library and Documents, another book titled “Hatheli Par Suraj” by Dr Darakhshan Andrabi and special edition of “BJP Update”.
Shah said that he feels highly delighted to dedicate this venture named after the great ideologue of the party who remains a source of inspiration to all. Through the medium of this project, we will be blessed by his writings and other great patriotic thinkers who have worked throughout their lives to set a path for coming generations, he added.
“Library and its books serve an avenue where one achieves perfection of mind and thought on a single table. This will give our youth a direction in life and serve as a platform where people can come and have better understanding of the history of BJP, its economic and foreign philosophy”, Shah stated.
He also held a review meeting with all heads of departments and projects set up for the smooth functioning of the party in the modern era, as the party has created 10 projects and 19 departments to ensure uniformity of the functioning of the party at National, State and District levels.
While addressing the heads, Amit Shah said that the motive behind constituting these departments and projects is to cope up with the modern day challenges. He said that the challenge before the party is to ensure that mass based party is able to retain its cadre based character. He stressed upon the need to preserve core ideologies despite becoming a mass based party.
Shah further said that the responsibility entrusted to karyakartas in this regard should be carried at with missionary dedication and not treated as a routine activity.
He also took the meeting of Ajeevan Sehyog Nidhi, Election Management, IT and Social Media Department.
Earlier on his arrival to the party headquarters, Amit Shah paid his heartfelt tributes to Dr Shyama Prasad Mookherji and Pt Prem Nath Dogra and garlanded their statues.
