JAMMU, Apr 30: Organized by Indian Dental Association (IDA), Jammu branch, a two-day workshop by Dr Rajeev Chitguppi, an internationally acclaimed Periodontist on the topic “Biological and Clinical foundation of Periodontal, Resective, Regeneration, Esthetic and Implant Surgeries” and “Biological and Clinical Foundation of Smile design” concluded here today.
Dr Rajiv Mengi, president, IDA Jammu, informed that this is for the first time that a hands-on course was conducted in the subject of Periodontics in Jammu.
Dr Chitguppi trained the dentists of J&K by conducting Hands-on course for various periodontal surgeries and smile design. He covered the topics including Perionomics, risk assessment for periodontics and implants, non-surgical periodontal treatment protocols, multidisciplinary periodontics, clinical smile design, etc.
Deepak Prashar from Dentium Implants showcased various products of his multinational company during the workshop.
