NEW DELHI: Continuing to break new records at the box office, ‘Baahubali 2’ has earned a whopping Rs 440-crore (all versions) in India in just five days, becoming the highest grossing Indian film of all time.
Trade sources said that within 5 days of its release, the film has collected around Rs 440-crore (all languages) and has beaten the lifetime collections of Biggest Bollywood films like ‘Dangal’and ‘Sultan’.
The previous record for the highest grossing Indian film was held by the ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ which collected around 420-crore in its lifetime theatrical run.
‘Baahiubali 2: The Conclusion’, which hit cinema screens on April 28, has been setting new benchmarks ever since its release.
The film had collections of Rs 121-cr on its opening day in India (all versions).
‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ has collected over Rs 300-crore (all languages) in its opening weekend at the domestic market, that takes its gross India total to Rs 385-crore. The film has grossed Rs 120-crore in its opening weekend in the international markets.
The film’s worldwide total now stands at around Rs 505-crore gross.
Helmed by SS Rajamouli, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Tamannah Bhatia in the lead roles. (AGENCIES)
