AMCCC warns agitation

JAMMU, May 3: AMCCC has expressed serious concern over the increasing terrorist violence in Kashmir,  mutilation of bodies of two Indian soldiers by Pak army, killing of JKP personnel and JK Bank guards by terrorists in Kashmir valley.
The AMCCC which held a meeting at Durga Nagar today urged the Government to act decisively against the separatists and terrorists who have brought the State to the path of destruction.
BJP Mandal president M L  Bhat also addressed the gathering. AMCCC chief Desh Rattan said that his organization will launch a movement against the terrorism and separatism eating up vitals of the society for last 28 years now. He also made an appeal to well thinking people in Kashmir valley to wage a war against the subversive elements as these are the people of the State who are facing their atrocities. He declared AMCCC will launch a movement from Jantar Mantar, New Delhi against the subversives and demand rehabilitation of the victims of terrorism with honour and dignity.
Highlighting his six point charter of demands  he demanded jobs  for all displaced people, enhancement of cash relief up to Rs 25,000 per month, compensation up to Rs 50 lakh for overaged youth, restoration of encroached land, balanced exgratia of damaged houses,  minority status etc.
Rattan, while criticizing wrong policies of successive Governments at Centre held first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru responsible for the present crisis.
He demanded that Pakistan be taught a lesson once for all and GoI should adopt a tough policy against neighboring country. He also demanded dismissal of State Government and imposition of Governor’s rule in the State.
