Srinagar, May 4: Police today said it recovered an abducted girl and nabbed the kidnapper in 48 hours from outside the State.
A police spokesman said that on April 30, a man reported in police station Safakadal that his minor daughter has been kidnapped by one Adil Gulzar Dar. On receiving this information a case FIR number 73/2017 under Section 363 RPC was registered.
“Immediately a team was constituted to nab the culprit. After strenuous efforts, police succeeded in recovering the abducted girl within 48 hours from outside the State. The accused has been arrested and investigation was taken up.
