Manohar flays BJP on rise of terrorism, border firing

JAMMU, May 4: Former minister  and senior Congress leader,  Dr Manohar Lal Sharma  while coming down heavily on the BJP  today alleged that they have spoiled the entire political  scenario due to which there is a steep rise in terrorism as well as cross border firing and infiltration.
In press statement here  today, the PCC leader expressed serious concern over these developments and said that the militants related activities have increased  manifold in the country whether it may be the case of Jammu and Kashmir or Naxal affected States like Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal.
Expressing   concern over the beheading of brave soldiers of Army and BSF  on LoC in Poonch  and the killing of 25 Paramilitary force personnel at  Sukna in Chhattisgarh, he said that centre must take serious note of it.  He alleged that  during the three years of Modi regime there are three incidents of beheading of Indian Army  soldiers.
The Congress leader said that Modi Govt has only  raised castles  in the sky and nothing concrete on the ground was visible.  He said the barbaric and inhumane  act of the Pakistan Army is highly condemnable and shameful.    Dr Sharma further said that on one side Modi is talking tough and doing nothing.
Former MLA alleged that  BJP and its leadership  believes in  talking much on terrorism and nationalism, but does nothing on the ground. The people have stopped trusting them. He said now it is the time to do something concrete in real sense to teach a lesson to the breeder of terrorism.
Referring to the statement of BJP National president  Amit Shah in Jammu that inspite not doing anything on the front of development, the people of Jammu will again vote for BJP, Dr Sharma said that it is over  confidence of  BJP leaders  and they have taken Jammu people for granted. The people will teach them a lesson in next elections.
