DyCM assures Govt’s full support to border people

POONCH, May 5: The border town of Poonch witnessed a massive BJP public rally, which was addressed by BJP State president Sat Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and others.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, in his address, said that Narendra Modi Government at the Centre was fully supporting the State Government in matters related to development and bringing peace. “Our Government in the State during the last two years has crossed many milestones and has set up very high bench marks of progress,” he claimed.
Condemning barbarism of Pakistan in mutilating the bodies of the Indian soldiers, Dr Nirmal Singh said that Pakistan by its violation of ceasefire is subjecting the border people to great hardships and sufferings. He assured the border people of the Government’s support and help. He also announced allocation of 29 crore rupees for laying of 33 KV power line between Chandak to Draba which was damaged due to floods of 2014. He further announced grant of 25 lakh rupees in addition to 18 lakh rupees already granted to the Poonch Municipality and also Integrated Power Development Programme.
BJP State president and MLA, Sat Sharma   said that organizationally BJP has its reach in every corner and segment of the State. “Every MP, MLA and MLC has been assigned duties at district/constituency / Mandal level for the public convenience and to help the people in mitigating their problems,” he added and also highlighted the welfare schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He stressed that aim of the BJP was Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas and the volunteer of the largest organization of the world were working with the principle of providing benefit to the last person standing in the last row of the society.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address,  said that  BJP was raising voice at all levels and forums of the Central Government highlighting  needs and requirements of the State, even upto the tehsil level so that approvals and funds are made available for the development to the State Government. “The Central Government is always helpful for the special needs of the State. The stray incidents of violence in the Valley are only meant to divert the attention from the task of development  but  nefarious aims of anti-national elements will not succeed,” he added.
Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga, also highlighted the achievements of State Government and said that the new industrial policy  would  help the industry to develop not only in cities like Jammu and Srinagar but also in small places like Poonch.
The rally was also addressed by Pahari Board VC Kuldeep Raj Gupta, OBC Board VC Rashpal Verma, BJP State vice- president Yudhvir Sethi, MLC Vibodh Gupta, MLC Pardeep Sharma, State secretary Sunil Gupta, Addl treasurer Arvind Gupta, press secretary Suraj Singh, president’s Tour Programme Incharge Rakesh Mahajan.
The rally was organized by BJP Poonch District president Bansi Lal.
