Kashmir integral part of India, will remain: Vibodh

JAMMU, May 5: MLC Rajouri, Advocate Vibodh Gupta, today said that Kashmir has always been an integral part of India and will remain so.
He was addressing a gathering at Government Higher Secondary School, Manyal, where he dedicated a compound wall to the students, which has been constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 lakh.
Vibodh said that people of Rajouri-Poonch have set an example of nationalism and patriotism, by clearly rejecting the wave of hatred and negativity, which is viral in the Kashmir Valley since last year.
Gupta said that young minds are pure and clean hearted and can be mould towards positivity. It’s duty of parents, elders and teachers to reshape the students and put them on the right path.
Lauding the role of security forces including the Army, Para-military and Jammu & Kashmir Police, Gupta said that we have among the best forces in the world and the nation is eternally indebted to them. He said sacrifices made by Indian Soldiers shall not go waste and J&K shall not be allowed to come into the clutches of people with nefarious designs in their mind.
He said that it is the responsibility of both the administration as well as the civil society to make the youth of Kashmir understand the reality, instead of getting instigated by the false propaganda by a handful few.
Gupta also said that, his party BJP always considers people of Kashmir as their own people. Except for a few spoiling the situation at gunpoint, a majority of the people in valley want peace and normal. “They all are Indians and protecting their lives and dignity, is the responsibility of our Governments at the Centre and in the State”, he added.
