BJP organizes medical camp at Purkhoo camp

JAMMU, May 5: To mark the birth centenary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhaya, former president of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the State unit of BJP today organized a free medical and health checkup camp at Purkhoo Migrant Camp.
The camp was held under the supervision of BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi. A team of specialist doctors including Dr Ranjeet Singh (Senior Joint Replacement Surgeon), Dr Mir Mudssair Sidiq (Cardologist) and Dr Priyanka Sharma from Amritsar, examined approximately 300 patients and even provided free medicines to them.
The doctors also provided medical advice to patients in cardiac, neurology and orthopaedic and other diseases. Amit Bagotra and Rajeev Verma helped in the successful conduct of the camp. After success of this camp, BJP will be holding free medical camps in Srinagar as well as Ladakh.
MLC Ajay Bharti and BJP Migrant Cell president, Chand ji Bhat, were also present during the camp.
