UDHAMPUR, May 5: Kaccha house of a villager in remote area Thurd got fully damaged in fire incident that caused around Rs 5 lakh loss.
The incident took this morning when Kaccha house of Gulam Ali, son of Muhumad Din of village Thurd caught fire due to electric short circuit. Even as Ghulam Ali immediately made a mobile contact with the Fire Brigade authorities, the Fire Brigade vehicle could not reach the spot due to the non availability of road. Firemen of the department reached the spot of incident after crossing a distance of four kilometer on foot but they were helpless as water was not available in the village for dousing the flames.
Ghulam Ali has accessed a loss of about Rs 5 lakh in the fire incident.
