JAMMU, May 5: Former minister and PDP leader Ch Gharu Ram from Suchetgarh (RS Pura) has expressed strong resentment over the news items appearing in section of Press, regarding his appointment as member of District PDP Jammu Rural unit, without his consent.
Reacting strongly to the reports, Ch Gharu Ram this as childish and non-political decision. Gharu Ram said that he was elected MLA, former minister, Member AICC abd also remained chief whip of the Congress party. He said it was the decision of the Late Mufti Mohd Sayeed who approached him for joining PDP before elections.
He claimed that he is an active politician which mass public support and has not accepted this assignment given to him by a non-political person. It is humiliating for him in the society. He urged upon the party president Mehbooba Mufti to inquire into the matter and take appropriate step if she is really serious to expand his party in Jammu region.
