REASI, May 5: Police arrested a drug peddler and seized a small quantity of heroin worth thousands of rupees from his possession.
The accused, namely Abid Malik, son of Wazir Mohd of Ward number 10, Reasi, was intercepted by a Police party, led by SHO Reasi during Naka checking duty at Mari Pulli, last evening.
The accused was driving a Santro Car number JK02AC-8876(Black colour), which was coming towards Mari. During checking of the driver, 1Gram of Heroin was recovered from his possession.
A case FIR No.77/2017, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Reasi.
