Intex launches lowest priced smartphone ‘Intex Aqua A4’

 

CHANDIGARH:  The Intex Technologies, one of the leading consumer electronics and mobile handset players in the country, today announced a big surprise for the customers with the launch of the lowest priced Android 7 powered smartphone ‘Intex Aqua 4’ in the market priced at Rs 4199.

    The launch was coincided with presence of prominent Gujarat Lions team players Aaron Finch, Manpreet Goni, Dhawal Kulkarni and Basil Thampi who were in the city here for IPL play off at Mohali. Pertinent to mention here that Intex is the owner of Gujarat Lions IPL team.

    Interacting with mediapersons here, Intex Technologies Head-Retail Vishal Malik said the 4G-VoLTE Aqua A4 smartphone supports unique feature like latest Android Naugat 7.0 operating system, split screen, 1.3 GHz quad core processor, one GB RAM, multitasking functions loaded with Value Added Services. There is perhaps no smartphone available in the market with such features, he claimed.

    To a question, Mr Malik said the smartphones are being manufacture at company’s Greater Noida plant which is now under expansion mode for integrated products lines with an investment of over Rs 1500 crore. The plant is coming up in 20 acres and to be completed in two phases and will have various products assembly lines including mobile phones and accessories, LED panels, washing machines and  refrigerators in first phase with an investment of about Rs 650 crore, he said.

    The first phase of the plant would be operational by June-July this year while second phase with an investment of about Rs 850 crore will come up later on and add Air Conditioner(AC) and other consumer durables in assembly lines, he added. (AGENCIES)
