Wheat prices recover on scattered demand

NEW DELHI, May 6: Wheat prices recovered by Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to mild demand from flour mills.
However, other grains held steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said mild demand from flour mills led to rise in wheat prices but ample stocks position on increased supplies, capped the rise.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) went up by Rs 10 to Rs 1,710-1,725 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 1,725-1,730 per 90 kg.
