JAMMU, Oct 19: Inderjit Sharma has been re-elected as president of Special Tourist Taxi Association (STTA).
Mr Sharma was elected unopposed for the 12th consecutive term as head of this body of special taxi operators of Jammu. Mr Sharma and members of his team were also elected to the executive body.
Only two applications were received for the posts of vice presidents and general secretary from the other group but they were also withdrawn today on last day of the withdrawal of nomination. Raj Singh is the vice president, B L Sodhi secretary while Arun Kumar Sudan cashier of the association. Mr Sharma assured the taxi drivers/ operators to continue his fight for their cause.
