JAMMU, May 6: A man died due to fall from an oil tanker in Narwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Pritam Singh (42) son of Joginder Singh, resident of Manguchak, was sleeping on the roof top of a stationary diesel tanker in Narwal area late last night when someone started driving the vehicle due to which he fell down and sustained serious injuries.
“The injured man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors”, the spokesman said, adding, today after completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
He said that a case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
