JAMMU, Oct 19: BJP National Executive Member & MLA Jammu East, Ashok Khajuria today kick started the laying of tiles and constructing drains in Ward No 7 of Jammu East Constituency.  Besides he also inspected the work of under construction Sulabh Shouchalaya in Kanji House area of the Ward.
Mr Khajuria, while reacting to the recent statement of Syed Ali Shah Geelani opposing the construction of road to the holy cave of Baba Amarnath Ji, said that it has become a  routine matter for the Kashmir based political parties and separatist organizations to make such statements which are aimed at pleasing the Kashmiris and hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus. He said that it was the result of the anti-Hindu approach of a handful of Kashmiri leaders that led to 2008 historic 63 day long agitation, which witnessed massive anger among the people and about two dozen people sacrificed their lives for their religion.
He said that the Kashmir based conditional leaders of NC and opportunist leaders of Congress have always worked towards dividing the people on one pretext or the other. For this unholy game, they have been using Syed Ali Shah Geelani and other of his ilk to divide the people on communal lines in order to divert the attention of the masses from the failure of the Government and escape their wrath.
Khajuria was accompanied by BJP Distt. President Rajesh Gupta, Senior leader Bansi Lal Bharti, Mandal President Sunil Dogra, Ex-corporator, Gulshan Mahajan, SC leader Jagjeevan Lal and other activists of the party.
