JAMMU, May 8: A deputation of Provincial Power Employees’ Union (PPEU) led by its chairman, Shakti Gupta, today met Chief Engineer (CE), EM&RE Wing, Jammu and put forth their demands.
The demands put forth by the deputation included release of 800 pending cases for implementation of SRO 59 within stipulated time frame, early initiation of DPC of daily wager staff of the department, considering separate seniority list of ITI and non-ITI employees and confirmation of those employees, who are working against the vacant posts in the department.
The Chief engineer gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to consider their demands for settlement.
