JAMMU, May 8: Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament today visited village Jindrah in Nagrota Constituency and inaugurated Higher Secondary Wing of Kendriya Vidalaya Jindrah.
Sharma while addressing the gathering said that the Kendriya Vidalaya Jindrah is one of the best schools in the Jammu but the students have to leave the school for further studies. The school was started in the area as primary and then upgraded to the secondary and now it will serve to the students as the Higher Secondary branch and the children of the local area as well defense personnel can get educated upto Higher Secondary level i.e. 11th & 12th.
He added that the Kendriya Vidalaya Sangathan is committed to give the quality education as well as to sharp the student in co-curricular activities. The students of Kendriya Vidalaya emerge as shining stars to serve the society and the nation.
Sharma complimented Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking interest to for betterment of students and the youth of the Nation and also advised the students to get skilled training along with the academic education. He said the DIGITAL INDIA is the biggest dream of Prime Minister and he is also contributing to forward his dream. The MP announced Computer Lab to KV Jindrah from his MPLAD Scheme to make students technically strong and by the means of this lab the students will learn new applications and get connected to the nation. The students presented cultural items during the occasion and celebrated it as new festival.
Senior leader BJP Nand Kishore Sharma complimented Member of Parliament for getting Kendriya Vidalaya Jindrah upgraded. He said that earlier opened as Primary School Jindrah is now Higher Secondary and will serve the Society. He said that the enhancement of the building is now the major demand and Member of Parliament will assure that he will take up the issue subject to the confirmation of land.
Principal Kendriya Vidalaya Jindrah Y K .Shakya also complimented Member of Parliament for visiting Kendriya Vidalaya Jindrah and assured that he as well staff will serve with great hardship to enlighten the students for their better future.
Capt (retd) Jagdish Raj, Uttam Singh,Ganesh Kumar,Harish Raina,Baldev Raj,Manoj Kumar,Som Raj and others were present on the same occasion.
