JAMMU : One of the Special Police Officers, who got critically injured during a mysterious firing in Doda district, today succumbed to his injuries at a hospital here.
“SPO Mohammad Younis this morning succumbed to his injuries in the Government Medical College and Hospital here,” police said.
Police said he was undergoing treatment, but did not respond.
Two SPOs had got seriously injured, when bullets were fired by some unknown persons at STF Post in Tanta area of tehsil Gandoh in Doda.
The matter is being investigated, police added. (AGENCIES)
