JAMMU, May 10: In today’s materialistic world, when most of the hospitals are focusing on earning huge profits, there are still few hospitals, which are providing low cost treatment to the down trodden and needy patients.

Balwinder Singh, son of Jaswinder Kaur, informed the media people that her mother Jaswinder Kaur’s left hip got fracture when she slipped at home. He was having Bhagat Puran Singh Health Insurance Card. He took her mother to many hospitals empanelled for this card. But no one entertained her. After knocking all the doors, he brought her mother to Amandeep Hospital and met Dr Avtar Singh. He examined her mother and after evaluating family’s financial condition, decided to operate Jaswinder Kaur free of cost. The family was asked to bear just the cost of medicines.
Jaswinder Kaur’s hip was replaced by Amandeep Hospital and now she is all right and getting discharged. Balwinder Singh told the media persons that people have assumption that Amandeep Hospital is very costly and poor people can’t even dream to get treated here. Whereas fact is just opposite. Here orthopedic patients are treated at very reasonable rates. Amandeep Hospital and its Doctors are next to God for our family.
