Family plays key role in building individual conscience: Speaker

JAMMU: Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta and Minister for Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali   today attended the annual meet of All India Anti Crime and Anti Corruption Organization (AIACACO), J&K State Unit.

Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that family plays key role in building individual conscience and his upbringing in a better environment can only make him a responsible citizen. “Families form first step towards ethics, morality and character building”, he added.

He urged the public at large to check corrupt practices in their zone of influence which in due course of time would spread to villages, cities, districts and so on.

Minister for Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali, in his address, said that multi sectoral approach is needed for checking the menace of crime and corruption through dedicated efforts from all sections of the society.

He congratulated the initiatives and efforts of the organization in generating awareness, thus, assisting the society in stimulating behavioral change towards crime and corruption.

Earlier, President AIACACO gave a brief account of history and functioning of the organization.

IGP Jammu, Dr S D Singh, IGP Armed Police, Alok Kumar, President Chamber of Commerce, Rakesh Gupta, National President AIACACO, Raj Kumar Rohela among others were present on the occasion.
