Army provides clothing, other assistance to Riglam Orphanage Hostel

LEH, May 14: Anmol Pannu, Zonal president, Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), visited the Riglam Orphanage Hostel here in village Saboo and donated clothing and other material provided by the Army.
Anmol Pannu was accompanied by Punchok Angmo who is deeply involved in social work in Ladakh. She is the wife of Dr Sonam Dawa Lonpo, Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh,
The orphange is providing shelter to a total of 32 children comprising of 16 girls and equal number of boys from the underprivileged and remote region of Ladhak.
Appreciating the work being done by the orphanage in taking care of such underprivileged children of the region, Anmol assured that the Army shall continue to provide such assistance in the future also.
