SRINAGAR: Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today discussed security situation and developmental scenario in the State with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari.
Mr Singh discussed various issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir with the Union Ministers at New Delhi today, an official spokesman said here this evening.
He said Dr Singh in his meeting with Mr Rajnath Singh discussed security situation in the State. He briefed the Home Minister about the prevailing situation in the State, particularly in the Valley and border areas.
He also conveyed to Singh about the steps being taken by the State Government with regard to peace in the Valley. (AGENCIES)
