Srinagar, May 17: Police today said it slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) on a notorious drug peddler in Pattan area of Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said a notorious drug peddler namely Mushtaq Ahmed Dar alias Madam of Pattan has been detained for a period of six months on the basis of dossier submitted to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and warrant received thereof and has been lodged in Kupwara jail.
The spokesman said he was involved in several cases and also in stone pelting incidents of last year.
