JAMMU, May 17: KM Singh, CMD, NHPC, India’s premier hydropower company and a ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Enterprise of Government of India, today delivered the Keynote address at Power-Gen India & Central Asia Exhibition and Conference at New Delhi.
In his address, Singh said as hydropower is one of the environmentally benign and economically viable options the development of hydropower projects is imperative and needs to be vigorously pursued.
On this occasion, an exhibition pavilion showcasing NHPC’s activities in the field of hydropower development has also been put up. The prestigious POWER-GEN India & Central Asia 2017 is a significant international power sector event being held from May 17 to 19at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
