KATHUA, May 20: MLA Kathua Rajeev Jasrotia today kick started the road construction works at Mankey Talab, Kukey Chack and Fish Pond road with estimated cost of Rs 2.75 crore.
The black topping work was launched by MLA Rajeev Jasrotia in the presence of prominent citizen of the areas.
While addressing the gathering, Rajeev Jasrotia said that the development was priority of BJP Government and all lane and drain works were being executed on priority. He said a project of Rs 24 crore for Old Samba -Kathua road has also been taken in hand and the road work is going to start very soon.
The MLA said that the basic infrastructure as road, lanes, drains, drinking water and electricity is basic requirement of common man and thrust of the incumbent Government was also focussed towards basic needs of common man.
