NEW DELHI:  The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will issue a tender for the title sponsor for the next five seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is in line with the uncounted wealth of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

     With the expiry of the existing 10th season of the IPL, the league title sponsor of Vivo will end. The new tender will be issued on May 31 and the winning bidder will get a new contract for the next five years.

    The meeting of the IPL governing council was held in this context yesterday in which the discussions about the tender process were discussed. In this meeting, Cricket Administrator Committee (COA) President Vinod Rai, Vikram Limaye and Diana Edulji were also present.

     After proper discussions on all aspects, the COA has decided that for the next five years, the tender process of the IPL title sponsor will be started from May 31. Apart from this, media rights tenders will be issued on July 17.

   IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla said, “I am very happy that members of the CoA and Administrative Committee have reached the final decision regarding the next tender.

     If success of this year is a sign, then I believe that we will be able to see this league at the highest peak of success in the next few years. With this decision from the right time, various claimants who apply for the IPL tender will get time to prepare. “

   COA Chairman Vinod Rai said, “I am confident that this tender process will give all the participants an opportunity for their claim with fairness and accountability.” (AGENCIES)
