DNWC takes up issues with several authorities

JAMMU, May 21: A delegation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC) led by its President Roshan Lal Raina took up various issues with several authorities including PHE Department, JDA, PDD and ERA.
The delegation took up the issue of installation of panel and stabilizer at newly constructed pump for regular water supply, to which Chief Engineer PHE told them that in one week the pump will start functioning.
The delegation also met Xen JDA and took up the issues of installation of 10 benches in the park and plantation of new grass, to which the Xen told the delegation members that work on both the issues will start within couple of days.
The delegation also met ERA Department officials and took up the issue of repairing of vall system near transformers and also met Xen PDD Division 3rd and raised the issues of covering of transformers. The concerned authorities told the delegation members of early redressal to the issues raised by them.
The delegation also appealed to Chief Engineer PDD to not impose long duration power cuts in the ongoing summer season. They also appealed to RTO Jammu to start mini-bus services to Durga Nagar as discussed earlier.
Among others, who were part of delegation were AK Bazaz, Nana Ji Razdan, Badri Nath,  CL Zutshi, Bhushan Lal Pandita and Mohan Lal Pandita.
