SRINAGAR: The State Legislative Assembly Speaker Kavinder Gupta today asked the Chairmen of the Financial and other Committees of the House to ensure effective, meaningful and result-oriented functioning of these panels.
The Speaker, while chairing a meeting with all Chairmen of Financial and other Committee of the House here, discussed and reviewed the working of these Committees.
The Speaker asked the GAD in coordination with Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Department and other departments concerned with regard to the implementation of the recommendations and observations contained in the report laid on the table of the House from time to time impressing upon them to strictly adhere to Rule 308-A of the Rules of procedure and Conduct of Business in J&K Legislative Assembly.
